Okay, here it is..
Hi everyone,
I’m currently on spring break, off from college and enjoying it. I loaded up my laptop earlier, got all ready to finish coding the site and lost all motivation. I’m not exactly sure why this is happening, but it is. I really need to do something drastic to the site in order to save it. At the moment, it feels dead. Rarely any updates, barely anyone posts on the forums, the site isn’t completely coded, the forums and oekaki need to be upgraded, I have many plans that never got implemented and many more things that need to be fixed. I really love this site and appreciate everyone who has been a part of it, but something needs to be changed.
Even though this layout has not been up for very long, I feel the need to make another version. I can’t help but feel cluttered and unorganized when I look at the site. At the moment. we still have about our normal number of unique visitors everyday. About 30-40 people still come to the site on a daily basis. When we first opened, it was about 90-120. If you are reading this, please comment and let us know what you think about the site. Your suggestions and comments are always greatly appreciated. It is easy to comment and no registration is required.
If I may repeat myself, I would like to fix all the problems I stated above. We will need all of you to stick with us while we undergo all these changes and we appreciate your support. I could have made up some excuse why the site hasn’t been moving lately, but I felt it would be better to be honest with all the visitors. If you have any suggestions that you would be more comfortable talking in private with me, please email me at lsatblu [at] talesotaku [dot] com.
Thanks everyone and take care!

Next US Tales Announced!
Natsumi here, with another update from the world of Tales.
Recently, Namco Bandai announced that they’d bring the latest installment in the crossover mini-series, Tales of the World, to North America sometime this summer.
Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology will be called simply Tales of the World in its NA release for PSP. It features many characters from past Tales games as playable characters and NPCs, and uses an engine for players to customize their own character.
No word yet on whether the characters will have the same VAs they had in their respective games. Some of the characters have either never appeared in English Tales games, or have never had English voice acting, so it’ll be interesting to see how this plays out.
Playable Tales characters include: Reid, Genis, Raine, Arche, Chester, Kratos, Lloyd, Stahn, Leon, Rutee, Luke, Tear, Senel, and Eugene.
This means that Natsumi is going to have to get a PSP sometime soon.

Tales Otaku is still alive
For anyone who might come to this site just to see if we are dead or not, we are not. I actually do that for a couple other sites to see if they ever update or not. Anyways, I have been drowning in school work lately, having to spend a lot of my time in the art rooms at college even on my days off. When I do have spare time, I am finding it hard to log in and spend time coding this site.
To our visitors out there, thanks for reading this and continuing to come to Tales Otaku. I can see how many people come to the site on a daily basis and I truly appreciate your activity. I have many things planned for this site, so stay tuned. One thing I can tell you is that I hope to make Tales Otaku into a large community with the most resources and ways to stay connected to every Tales fan site. I’ll keep you guys posted.
To our staff, please contact me if you have any questions. As soon as I get the rest of the site coded for v2, we can begin starting new content.
Thanks for reading this long passage and please check out the forums if you have not. It seems they are rather dead lately and we could use a few active members. I see a bunch of benefits to staying active on there for those members in the future.
Take care.
