Chapter 1: A new menace
In a village called Iselia, there lives a boy called Toan Ignon. He's a very briskly person and is at the age of 16. He is very talented into swordsmanship, but he works as a lumberman. He is a classmate from Lloyd and in the past he always wanted to talk with Lloyd, but he had never success because there was never a good chance for that. On top of that, LLoyd left the village some day, so Toan had never a chance to meet Lloyd. But he still wanted to become a friend from Lloyd, so he hoped that he'll come back to Iselia some day. Toan didn't know everything about what Lloyd and his friends have done for the world, but he shall know it on some day, because after Lloyd Irving, Toan Ignon is the new hero chosen by destiny to save the world from the upcoming menaces.

It all begins on a Saturday morning on Iselia. Toan walk outside from his house and say:

Toan: Ah, what a great day. It couldn't be better. Well...it just could be better: Lloyd could appear before me...just now! *looking around the village*....... -.- well, better luck next time. However, I must go to work.

Toan has no parents. He lost its parents when he was a baby. A traveler found Toan in front of an empty house and brought him to the mayor of Iselia. Since then, Toan lived by the mayor, who has adopted Toan and grow him up as his own son. However, when Toan was at the age of 14, he left the mayor to live alone and earn money for his life by himself. Since then, the mayor becomes grouchy to other people. Toan live his life on his own way by working as a lumberman.
Personally, Toan is a cool-headed guy and doesn't matter about the future, but after all, even he is kindly, he is a good person and he knows what he must do on the right place at the right time.

[Author's note: Not to mention his sense of black humor and irony XD]

Toan is walking into the forest on the west of Iselia to lumber some trees. He stops by the branch connection to the Desian Ranch, which is still uninhabited and malfunctioned. Toan begins to lumber some wood, until he hears some voices coming from the ranch.

Toan: Oh oh. My instinct tells me that I'd better hide somewhere. Maybe It's the best to hide behind this tre...*he trip over the stump from the tree which Toan has lumber a second before* darn -.- well, let's continue with hiding.

2 people appear on the branch connection and look around. After that, they talk to each other.

Person no.1: Man this sucks. Why must out troops congregate on this desian ranch? I mean, why can't our troop attack this Iselia village and kidnap the inhabitants immediately?

Person no.2: Because we want to get sure to not let escape a person from this village after they'd seen one of us. I mean we want to conquer the world, and it's easier to do this with sneak attacks instead of many battles with many wastes of soldiers.

Person no.1: Yeah I get your point, but why on this ranch? To save time, we could force the troops on a field in front of the village, couldn't we?

Person no.2: No, we can't you moron! On the field, every traveler can see us, and we definitely looks like soldiers. *sigh* Fine, I'll explain you this to an way even you might understand: A plague is only deadly when it can't be cured, but if someone will found an antidote for the plague, it's not deadly, it's only dangerous, but not deadly. That means the chance to win will changed from 100% to 60%. So we must be unknown to be deadly, and not only dangerous, right?

Person no.1: Uhm...yes.

Person no.2: Good. And are you understand now why we have to congregate the troops here on an inhabitanted place like this ranch?

Person no.1: Uhm...no?

Person no.2: -.-

During the two soldiers talking to each other, Toan look carefully behind the tree where he's hiding and analyze the clothes from the both soldiers. They wear some kind of white armor, but their armors looks like they would fit like a glove to their bodies. Toan hasn't seen such suitable armors before. The other armors look more quarter-like, but the white armors are completely chamfered. And every one of these soldiers holds a strange weapon on their hands: It looks like some piece of grey metal which is formed as an L-letter.

Person no.2: Anyway, we have to finish an order, remember?

Person no.1: Yes. We have to kill a...uhm...dwarf, right?

Person no.2: Right. A dwarf lives at the top of this mountain. We can't risk that he see us and warn the villagers, so we have to kill him to get sure.

Person no.1: Well, it takes only a minute to finish this, but it's a better amusement as to wait to the officer's arrival. By the way, when did the officer arrive?

Person no.2: I guess in ten minutes, but its better when we are finished with our job before he arrives. So let's go.

The both soldiers are now going up to the top of the mountain. After Toan can't see them anymore, he comes out from his hideout.

Toan: They plan to attack Iselia and kidnap all the inhabitants? And what was that about a dwarf? Wait....isn't Lloyds father a dwarf? Could it be that this dwarf who live on this mountain is Lloyds father?....And now he shall be killed. I have to stop them!

Toan run up to the top of the mountain. After a few minutes, he arrive a house, but he is too late: The both soldiers are standing in front of the house's door.

Person no.1: Get out of your house dwarf, or we have to become a little bit rude.

Dwarf: Where are you people that I should come out, heh? Get you gone, or I have to become a little bit rude!

Person no.2: Son of a dwarf! Fine, I've warned you, in this case

He keeps up his arm and aims the stable beside the house. Then, a red light beam appears from the L-letter-metal and flies to the stable. When the light collides with the wood, it explodes and burns.

Toan: What the....that stable burns, only because this red light beam which comes from that strange weapon....I must rescue this dwarf , but I have to be veeeeery careful by fighting this guys too. Hmmm.....

Person no.2: Listen dwarf! We only want your money. Give us your money and we leave this place immediately.

The both soldiers are now whispering to each other.

Person no.1: Man, you're such a villain, hi hi

Person no.2: He, I only want to finish this as fast as possible. After all, I want to wipe out the whole area, and when this dwarf has gone for good, I can finally start with that.

Person no.1: Oh yeah, I forgot that explodes are your hobby. Fine, do as you wish, but in exchange, I kill the dwarf instead of you, ok?

Person no.2: Agreed.

The dwarf is now opening the door slowly. Then, the dwarf attack person no.1 with an axe holding in his hands, but this person react immediately, move a step backward to avoid the axe and take the dwarf by his neck. The dwarf let the axe fall from his hands because the stranglehold from person no.1 is so heavy, the dwarf can only breathe barely.

Person no.1: That's it dwarf, your spectacular end. Not with a whimper, but with a bang!

Person no.1 throws the dwarf away into sky and aim with his weapon to him.

Person no.1: Good bye....*clang* what the!?
